"Would you like ground pepper with that? Say when"

A rare sighting of Cyclops Baby.

I want everyone of you to take two minutes and check out this website, and if you can - buy their CD!

www.braided.ca

It's a trio of three girls, who were in the top ten of season three of Canadian Idol. The most important part of this story is that Amber, one of the girls, grew up in Roblin (my home town). I ordered the CD and it just came in the mail tonight. Love it!

oh dear. it's 11:50. I'm officially a pumpkin. The worst part is that Maddie could care less what time I go to bed...she'll get up when it suits her! Let's all cross our fingers and hope today's the day she sleeps until 8. Yeah right.

It's so great to have my computer back! Eleventy billion thank yous to my hero, Jason.

Good night all.

Rolling Over 101
by Madeleine Jane

Step 1:
Get into position. Hold head high, but occasionally drop it face first into the blanket so that your mother has a heart attack and thinks you're suffocating. Try it, it's hilarious.

Step 2:
Push one hand into the floor and tilt your enormous cranium the other way.

And ladies and gentlemen, that is how you roll over.

Please join us next time when we discuss the finer points of
The Fake Cough.

Yay! Four months old!

ROYGBIV?
Crisis Bigger Than
The Great Dial Up Catastrophe!

Sorry for the huge delay in photos. I'm having computer problems, no Internet on my laptop so I've been having to sneak down to Jason's liar to check my facebook account!!

Maddie is cute as ever (just take my word for it). She's currently tipping the scales at a whopping 11 lbs, 10 oz!! Teeny tiny as ever!

hope to have some pictures up soon...

My mom left today for one month in England.
Wish I was going with her and I hope that she has a fabulous time.

We're baaaaack!

ok, here's quick re-cap of the trip. Took tons of pictures, so I'll just put a few up here to fill you in on the trip.

Maddie and Mackenzie. The sweater is a perfect fit, Mrs. Pollock and she's worn it lots (already washed it twice!)

Four Generations:
Grandpa, Great Grandma Butcher, and well you know the rest (if you don't you have NOT been paying attention)

The Hursts!
We had so much fun when they came for lunch. Britt was able to maintain his title of Playground Champion. Not for much longer though b/c he had to go home for a nap immediately after securing his title.
L to R: Jett, Jazlyn, Hutton, Storm, Blaise, and Maddie

Uncle Britt!
I have to tell this story b/c Britt doesn't have a computer and he'll never know. He was holding Maddie when she let forth with a loving waterfall of baby barf...all down his arm. The same boy (man??) that can clean a fish was gagging and frozen in horror. "Take her!"
Ahhhh, I'm still the big sister and I can still torment my little brother.

"Hey good lookin!"
Madeleine discovered just how cute she is on this trip.
Oh, mark your calendars - Maddie can now roll over! She doesn't seem to do it on command just yet (edibles aren't working) but it happened and I have witnesses!

~~~~
On a side note. Is anyone else concerned that Bailey didn't get the job? I'm sure Cali's great - but seriously. And will Alex get back in time?
AND did you see The Office? Yay Pam and Jim!
Happy Birthday Great Uncle Garnet!
The Big Seven-Oh this year??
Couldn't do it!
I thought I could wait until we were home to post some pictures...
but the addiction is too strong!
"does this hat make my cheeks look cute?"
"how 'bout if I sit this way? Still cute?"
"Daddy, where ARE you?"
We're off to see the wizard!
Actually, we're flying to S'toon tomorrow (just me and Maddie). Then Auntie Lisa is driving us to see Grandma and Grandpa Kenco and everybody in Roblin (yes, you Mrs. Pollock!!), then we're going to see Great Grandma Butcher, and then we're heading up to Flintabetty to see Grandma and Grandpa Butcher (and The Big Red Door) and the Stampede of Hursts. Fun times ahead!!
But sadly, Daddy isn't coming with us...
We miss you already, Daddy.
Lucky Girl
All about the fingers in the mouth these days... Does this look familiar to anyone?
and she's found her hands...
...and her VOICE!
After a trip to the zoo on the weekend we discovered that Madeleine does an excellent peacock impersonation. If you haven't heard a peacock... well, just imagine glass shattering shrieks. Sometimes shrieks of delight, sometimes just comments on her world. It's like closed captioning for peacocks. Finally we have found the one trait that I passed on. Careful what you wish for...will somebody pass me the Tylenol?
