Are you ready?

I've just spent the last hour updating the blog.

Go get a cup of coffee and settle in. Go on, we'll wait.

We went to Roblin on the long weekend for Karissa's wedding (Jason's cousin). It was the first time since the girls were born that we were all home at the same time. We had such a great time and there were cousins EVERYWHERE! Jason and I loved watching Maddie spend time with so many cousins.

Mariella Markosky (unoficial wedding photographer)

On Sunday Lisa taught me to do this: Make the subject clear and the background fuzzy. I have to say I'm pleased as punch with that little tidbit.

How I described the Wedding Reception (Aka PARTY) to Maddie:

There will be dinner (with perogies), and then people will talk into the microphone for a long time. When they are done using the microphone you can take your shoes off and run and run and run.

Sure enough, that's just what she did. She danced all night long. She outlasted the grown ups!

Who is that masked woman?

Grandma Pollock made this FABULOUS sweater just for Catherine. It fits her perfectly and she loves it. (and so does Maddie).
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

GIRLS WEEKEND!!

This time it was Patti's turn to host so...

FIVE years, and SEVEN kids later we all packed our bags and headed to Winnipeg!

Our brush with fame (thanks to Patti's hawk eye):
Cindy Klassen (Olympian!)

I had such a good weekend.  It was so nice to have that time with you guys.  After all these years I feel as close to you as ever.  I think we're so lucky to have each other.
Thank you for being my Barbies.

It's kind of like the Eiffle Tower, except it's not. BUT we did WALK up to the top!

And then we got talkin' about pie...

"Yeah, I like pie"

Smokin'!

Another Markosky Car Picnic!

This time it was after swimming lessons, we picnic'd in the car and then headed out to Dalmeny to the Garage Sale!

Mother's Day:

We went Geo Caching near Martensville. Jason gave me my very own GPS! We've yet to discover an official geo cache treasure, but we always have a fun adventure.

Here's Jason looking and looking. But no luck. Instead we found:
- the world's ugliest clock
- a bird nest
- a lot of beer bottles
- and a rock for our rock garden at home

(oh, and one Barbie leg, but we didn't point that one out to Maddie)

Jason, holding our newest rock garden addition.

FYI

My sister-in-law kicks ASS.  Check out her fabulous photography.

Just thought you should know.

Good night.

and p.s. Georgia is walking now!
Last night Maddie seemed to have trouble sleeping and was up a few times.  Jason crawled into bed with her and she wrapped her little arms around his neck and snored in his face.  Sometime later she woke up and said "Ok Daddy, you can go now"
"Take Bitty Baby and Sarah with you"
"...and tuck me in"

Just a little cuteness to start your day.

Georgia's Baptism

Madeleine and I were invited to attend Georgia Bean's baptism a few weeks ago. It was a very special evening and we were thrilled to be a part of it.
