Just what you've all been waiting for...
THE PEACOCK!

Please bear with the angle of this clip - apparently there's no rotating video at this time. So just tilt your head and enjoy. Keep in mind that this is a QUIET version, usually a full Peacock will actually hurt your ears. I'm not exaggerating.

p.s. Colleen - Bosco barking in the background is for your personal enjoyment and the video thingy is right beside the photo thingy when you upload pics onto your blog.

Ok, here's another video. I'm hoping this is a good one of Maddie eating cereal for the very first time. Now that I can put video's on here, I'll try and take some better ones with my camera. Please give me feedback though if you can't watch them at home, or if they really slow your computer down.

Enjoy.

Well, we survived The Land of Dial Up and have the pictures to prove it!

First stop was S'toon for a couple of days with Lisa, Jayson and the Kids. Then on to Roblin. The fair was on so Maddie was able to see her very first parade and we all had a yummy pancake breakfast!

Jason's in a TIE!! The first time since our wedding eight years ago!

Madeleine with Great Great Auntie Evelyn and Great Grandma Butcher

Garden peas! Yummy!

Three short days after the wedding picture...I'm now if full Bush Gear. I'm even wearing Ken's work boots. We took two quads and a boat out to "check rice". I was extremely helpful as you can imagine.

Mrs. Pollock made this hat and sweater and it's just so cute I couldn't resist.

I've just discovered that Blogger has added a "video" application. So I'm trying it out with a very random piece of video. Unfortunately my camera is dying a slow death so I may have to find another video source.

ok, I've just watched the video, and it's pretty bad. Forgive me. But I've spent an hour trying to find the video clip that I really wanted to use. Now I'm just tired. So I'll include this cute one of Maddie sitting up to tied (tide?) you over.

Good night.

Like the sign says...
Happy Birthday, Shelley!

A day late (I think) - forgive me, I hardly know the days of the week, never mind the date on the calendar!

Hope it was (is?) a good one.
Jason, Jenn and Madeleine

I have to say, herding cats is easier than getting Maddie to leave a piece of paper alone long enough to take a quick picture...

SIX MONTHS OLD!!!

So much to do and so little time...
~eating solid food

~goin' to the beach

~learning to sit up

~meatballin' around the room (Jason's word for "rolling")

On Wednesday we drove to Gull Lake and met Keely, Alyssa, and Hayden for an afternoon at the beach.

"Hayden, you would not believe what happened on the way to the beach today."

BUT - before we could get to the beach I discovered that my rear window had smashed! I was loading the car and threw my beach bag in the back seat. I glanced up to see that the window was completely shattered and maybe two seconds later the whole thing fell in.
It was a very lucky day b/c Maddie wasn't in the car when the window fell in, only my beach bag. We're not 100% sure how it happened, or even when. It was either hooligans or it was a very random rock from someones tires. Quite an eventful (and expensive) day! Jason came through (for the millionth time) and let me take his truck while he took the car and had the window replaced. Now the Neon Rider is good as new! (and yes, I managed to save my "minot sticker" so that I know which car is mine!!)
