The Toddler Room...

Maddie officially moves to the "Toddler Room" on friday, so for the past week or so she's been "visiting". We wondered why her poop was green one day last week.


Mystery solved:

We're back - it was such a good trip - how could it go by so fast?




Kole: I'll go to the Stampede Breakfast, but you better not touch my hat.

Maddie: You mean this hat?

Kole: I said, don't touch the hat.

Maddie: I'm sorry. (insert smooch noise here)

Maddie and I are flying to Calgary TONIGHT!! We're planning to stop by STA tomorrow (Friday). Not sure when, likely around lunch time. Hope to see as many people as we can - can't wait!

Playing dress up - Maddie loves to go into my closet. She found this shirt and insisted that it was her colour. We put it on and she couldn't have been more proud. Or more horrified when I announced it was time to take off the shirt/dress. Clearly I know nothing about fashion.

As you can see, the chicken pox did not slow her down. It was so mild, she really only has two pox (is that how Tupac Shakur got his name?)

Uncle Britt came all the way to see us for a night and Maddie finally discovered what a fabulous uncle he is!

Our Canada Day Girl



One of the women that take care of Maddie at daycare is also an artist and she has painted beautiful murals along the hallway. This "under the sea" theme is the latest.

Maddie loves this chair. She can climb in all by herself and once in she's so proud she'll sit there for quite a while, just surveying her kingdom I guess.
